JAPANESE LANGUAGE SPECIALISTS (N3 CERTIFIED)
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbal and written, in both English and Japanese (Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji)
  • Familiar with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Willing to work on holidays, weekends, shifting schedules and extended working hours
  • Willing to learn and work in an IT environment
Nice to Have:
  • Preferably JLPT passer: N3 level or higher
  • TOEIC score: 600 or higher
Responsibilities:
  • Translation tasks (e.g. e-mails, tickets, error information) from English to Japanese and vice versa
  • May require interpretation service during conferences or meetings with counterparts, clients, and vendors
  • Initiate and implement Quality Assurance and process improvement activities
  • Assist in the development of bilinguals by conducting brownbag or training
  • Ability and interest to learn business, tools and technical terminologies.
  • Ability to use and contribute in strengthening translation tools to increase productivity
  • Works with teams and diverse range of people
